Haha yeah. I wouldn't get out of bed for that personally, but we all have to start somewhere right?

Haha good point... I'm sure you'll find someone, coz its not a bad pay actually... as long as it doesn't require a whole lot of experience or something...

Anyway, Shaz, give me a 0% interest home loan... for life

kthanksbye

No experience necessary. Just either a good bloke, or a hot woman. Its nothing flash man, its just an entry level bank job. The pay won't ever get lower than that.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

It's a fucking good starting rate! I'd suggest Rach give it a crack if she wasn't studying and it wasn't on the other side of the world!

Yeah, its gets higher by 4% per year. + around 5k every 6-12 months on top + bonuses, and you're generally promoted to a lender within 12 months which is $60k+

Fuck. That is a good rate of pay rises I reckon. I've been here 12 months now and I wouldn't even bother suggesting a raise.

Sack - 6 figures is generally 3-5 years.

FT = Full Time. 8:30 - 5:30 Mon-Fri

Its not commision based, but you do get set targets. Basically to identify new lending opportunities from customers. 10 opportunities a week.

My team lead is a douchebag... but seriously... he is a self proclaimed douche... he says so himself...

Still, I'd like an increase, but doesn't look like I'll be getting one this year... :(

Yeah, I don't mind giving my staff cash. I mean, if they're doing their job and making my life easier, why wouldn't I reward them for it? Especially if it comes out of the banks pocket.

Theres pretty sweet high performance rewards as well. They generally do a big ass overseas trip for the top performing staff. You get a paid 2 week holiday to hawaii. Generally around 100 staff per 6 months get on that. Changes every year. It was hawaii, then it was Darwin, then Margaret River, then vietnam, and then fiji, etc.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

I can't really ask for a pay rise when the company isn't making any money though :D

Found a house, Simo, or just looking at rates and shit?

Can I haz more money now, with all the benefit and trips and rewards without having any targets to hit in the first place?

Hmmm... I'll do a Homer Simpson and stand outside the bank with a shotgun, telling people to get their loans at ShazBank.. I'm sure that will go down well... :)
