Awesome, head gaskets are fun times!

Going to be a good looking engine with all this paint  :D

Until it goes back in the bay and gets covered in shit during reassembly lol

Sick, nothing like having two cars to cannibalise from each other.

Plenty of spares for when you convert.

BBS will look better on white as well.

Cant pinch from the current car unfortunately. It has to be in working order as the white car is technically Tys and we're swapping when the white car is running and rego'd.

And yeah bbs will be mint on the white car ones the body is tidied up

I do like the gold BBS on a white car, This new car is going to look just like Ty's white nugget, except no sunroof.

When you put it like that, white gen 2 are as common as ***.

Even less gen 3 white outbacks in SC !!

Ps Do you need to borrow my engine stand ??  It will make the assembly of the engine much easier.

Probably a good idea. Tyre stand has been ok so far except the buckets trying to jump out

Yeah but white is such a wicked canvas, everything goes with white, you could smack bright orange rims (#Harry) on it and it would still look....ok.

Try driving a sage green forester..... what the fork goes with sage green.

So what are you swapping? You fix the white RX up, and then when it's running you swap it for your GX? And Ty gets a stock GX to off load and you've got an RX with all your aftermarket mods? Sounds like a real Aussie car deal, surprised there's not a carton in there somewhere.

Nothing srs today either cos exam. Heads were dropped off on thursday and have been told 200 bones but Ty forgot to ask about the bolt so could go up. Hardness test came in at 85~ or something. Ive got not idea what the scale is but apparently its not the best but not the worst. Been told not to thrash it and it only has to last a year ¯\(°_o)/¯. In other news intake is back together and looking schmick.

hAyiVol.jpg

Throttle body gasket came out in 2 pieces so its just loosely on. Injector O-rings are reused as well which ill probably replace them cos fuel burns real good. Have 1 screw and 1 hook thing left over

Nb7oXj0.jpg

and broke 1 hose from the Pressure Switching Valve? to the throttle body. The hose was easily the worlds most brittle object so will be getting a big length of silicon to replace any others. Also found the house i broke on the coolant crossover went to the idle valve.

He's just trying to scare me off doing it I think :)
