Sure feels like it sometimes, Jase.

It consumes most of my spare time. Going to work is like a break lol.

Careful you don't pop a gasket from overwork.

I take a day off every now and then. You have to, youjust get sick of being covered in grease all the time.

Hopefully I'll be pulling the engine from Whitekong on Tuesday then pissing off the shell .
That will free up the driveway for the next job and take a fair bit of pressure off.
Then I'll focus on Bluekong.

So I'll be working on my cars only for now. Everyone else can wait. There's a few lads at work that want shit done too, but I've learnt to put the foot down and say no.

Wow.

I wish I could give my engine bay that kind of treatment. I never have time to clean things.

I like the different bumper and boot lid.

Those screws in the door remind me of something I did to my old Magna... mind you it was a $500 Magna... I try not to be that dodgy on my B4 :P

Cheers Luke.

Small update.

Picked up a new style of dash surrounds, brushed graphite. I never liked the silver B4 trim.

The gear nob and boot are in great condition & so much nicer than the old ones.  Included was a HID leveling switch which I'll hook up at a later date

Best dash finish for Gen3 hands down. Aluminium I felt was too try-hard and the wood was too geriatric. Though, I have seen some piano black ones which look mint too!

She looks like she's making some good progress, mate!

Still a long way to go, Jimbo. I'm at that point where motivation is lacking. I wanted to have it finished by the Xmas cruise but that would be a miracle.

I had that dash finish in my old green gen 3. Shame it got written off.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Hahahaaa.

I have a bit more work under there to do first.  The stereo isn't hooked up & there's still a brant harness that needs to come out  :)

For those of you who didn't see on FB, this is how I fixed the Brant issues.....

Haha, well that's one way to fix it lol. How's the concrete floor look now lol

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.
