Adam, I was mate but without a decent garage its going to be a bit hard..
im probably going to just put the camera on the tripod and take a few shots along the way..
document it as best i can with Photo's and some short videos and create a epic DIY thread for the whole thing.
Was a bit optimistic trying to get it documented the way i had planned. not to say it wont happen with the next car though

* has thoughts of gen1 race car* lol

Looking forward to seeing the progress and a massive +1 to the DIY thread!! We need a DIY thread to give to people who ask about conversions.

Big few weeks ahead!
Cheers,
Shazza
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Today I finished stripping the cut down..
loom is out ready to be tackled.
Everything else is gone from the engine bay.
Tomorrow I have a few mates coming around to help me lift the shell off the box and carry it out front and move the Lib in to be stripped.
I'll probably be criticized for it but I have decided not to do a major service on the new engine. I'll do it in 50k but right now the funds can go towards other things
After stripping it, looks like everything was recently done. Running belt looks fresh, no oil leaks, new valve cover gaskets, shiny new water pump, etc.
All the fluids were good too, thought it was meant to be drained for shipping..
So.. Anyway, I'm throwing in a new exedy HD (I was going to go standard but I don't launch or do stupid things so decided on the HD)
So far nothing has been an issue..
But I'm about to start on the loom.. so fingers crossed lol.
Waiting on the photos to upload..

I know I can have my engine and drive-line removed from the Lib in half a day.
Have done it before.
The mechanical aspect I could do in a weekend.. out and back in.. have done it so many times now.
It's the dash, loom and other fiddly peripherals that are going to be the killer..

I'm Sure I'm overcomplicating it but...

Sending to Al is not a option right now.. but i am going to go mental with all the wiring! 4 hours trying to find wiring diagrams..
i think i have the jist of it now and i'll start wednesday stripping the loom once i finish getting the Lib's loom out but it is a bit daunting looking at it right now haha.
