Im by no means calling the pathetic EJ22 a torque monster. Just making a comparison with cars I've driven with similarly sized motors.

well for a red p plater i think its good, its not a ricer, it looks schmick, runs perfectly with no problems and does the job for me at the moment.

i.. like many are only driving N/A cars due to p plate laws.. there is no use in doing any engine work on an N/A engine due to you can still get booked and lose your licence my mate drives a vl and lost his licence due to having a stronger ignition system and an exhaust on his car.. The cop classed it as a performance upgrade which p platers arent allowed to do.. ive gotten away with alot in my year and a bit of driving (including speeding, racing, defects, backfiring my mates gemini through the city, drifting my old ute) and been pulled over pretty much every weekend and been defected many times.. all a p plater needs to do is sneeze the wrong way and the cops will pull you over for the so called "random breath test" which always results into a vehicle inspection and if the cop is in a shit mood he will get you for anything.. even a pod filter correctly tuned can lose a p platers licence as it gives you more power gain.. i'd sugest spend the money on how the car looks and handles and save for until your off your p's.. and just because the cops are on your back all the time about your car dont change it for nobody else but yourself because your car is the way it is because thats how you like it.. and dont waste money on N/A engine work its a complete waste of time and cops will know if you have after market cams in the car by the way it idles

And my tak will still be quicker and smoother.

vtec is all shit.. ive driven alot of vtec cars and most of it is just noise and more horse power at the engine and that about all... ive raced vtecs and they sound and go like shit.. ive never lost to a vtec and ive raced a worked civic which is one of the boys i go to tafe with and runs mid 13's and beat him by heaps so get over the vtec shitboxes just get a vl turbo automatic and itll munch anything and sound better than any other car out there

Well i wonder why we have P plate Laws? doing that kinda shit! i mean seriously. grow up! the police aren't out their to get us P platers. Their out there to keep the community safe. so theirs probably a good reason the cops are always on your back.

I got beat by an Integra Type-S when I had my wrx, I had the car for 3 days and didn't quite learn to launch it, bogged down and on a roll I couldn't catch up. They aren't too bad really, new civic type-r gave me a good run for my money through macquarie pass also. I have more respect for the honda's than S14's and S15's, they're slow nugget boxes.

Your gen2 RX vs 13 second VTAK = RX fail. You would be lucky if your car could do a 16 second pass.
