A question I do have though is, with a b4 dash, when you click your seat belt in the dash dims right down, and in the evening, its quite difficult to see/read. Is this the case with everyone or have I got a minor problem

Sounds like you have an electrical problem there... only the seatbelt light is supposed to go out. The B4 dash is really bright at night, when adjusted to full. Unless it is a feature and you have the adjustment on low. But I am fairly certain it doesn't change.

As far as Im aware, the dimmer on the steering coloum doesn't adjust shit. It doesn't work.
The dash lights up very bright with the lights turned on/off, But as soon as I put my seat belt on they dim to a level when its evening its hard to read. Maybe one option is to just disconnect the seat belt connector.

I just got one sent to me. Is it plug and play or different wiring, and if so who did it?

Do the lights on the HVAC dim also?

As with the dimmer on the column stalk, it dims those lights along with the cluster lights.

And what happens when you turn on the lights? The display on the HVAC dims a lot, so much so, it can be very hard to read in daylight.

If the HVAC does or doesn't dim, it may help you in identifying the problem somehow.

I don't believe putting my seatbelt in changes anything. Will check for you tomorrow ;)

Only switching the headlights to park or low beam changes the dash backlight intensity. Putting the seatbelt in doesn't to anything.

Personally, I'd do what yannsB4 did with the vinyl wrap or even Plasti Dip it. Something that's reversible

I agree with the reversible idea. Even though it looks so fukin shmick you'd never want to change it back. Soooo, then again, for re-sale, surely a buyer would think the same?

Where is that picture from, btw? Looks like a fukin great looking liberty!!

OH BTW; Jack Keaka, member on the forum, did it recently with plasti-dip I do believe. Shot him a PM?
His thread: http://www.subyclub....__fromsearch__1

(EDIT; Yes, it is plastidip, and the pics are on page 3

Goes awesome, Love it to death.

The only thing I dislike is watching gold coins pouring out of my exhaust at a rate that makes me cry haha but that's what you have to put up with.
At this stage, I will be putting rota grids back on!

I can't decide weather to go back and get what I originally had which was 17x8 +44 or go wider and 17x9 +42 or 17x9 +35?
