Don't stress too much about the connectors Vice. Each plug is unique, so you can't plug something in where it doesn't fit. Just keep plugging stuff in till you've got no plugs left and you can't go wrong!
Once the loom was in, I think we had it all plugged together within 20 minutes. Simply routing the looms is harder than actually connecting it all up.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

OH ok.. Hopefully its that easy for me.. sometimes just getting one piece out the car takes me 20 minutes..

Im just playing cautous as i have no experience with this.. for example I plan on baggin every bolt thats removed from the liberty and taping it to the component next to the hole lol..

Atleast this thread will allow someone with no experience what so ever to have every question of theirs answered if they are thinking of going down this path i spose..

Cheers !!

That's not Dylan's dash Shaz, Dylan's was a manual. Also it doesn't have me working hard while Dylan stares at his Haynes manual, so it can't possibly be his.

My apologies. Dylan posted it, so I figured it was his.

HAHA, looking at a Haynes manual while Luke does slave labor. Like a Boss.

as said above, cable wont need to be marked, too much of an effort for amauto, once you lay out the loom in the car and around the motor everything will be perfect length and plug into its own spot, aslong as you plug them all in, you will be sweet

Does look like a gen2 bilstein ed, but I don't think it's Dylans. Lack of unlabelled paper bags with mystery bolts lying everywhere also indicates it's not his...

What a fun 12 month conversion that was...

Where are you doing it mate? Got a garage and decent equipment? Few mates to give you a hand?
When we did mine, I drove into the workshop at 8.30am Saturday, and drove it out again 8pm Sunday night with boost. Dash was all in the boot, but it ran :P

Well made some more progress over the weekend.. First up i went to supercheap and got me a engine crane as they where on special down from $380 to $250.. Seemed like a pretty good buy..

Posted Image

Next up i went about removing the bonnet of the lib.. The head lights and got stuck into removing the plastic panels under the bumper and in the wheels arches..

Posted Image

Posted Image

This is where i hit my first wall.. I cant get a few of the plastic screws out of the wheel well covers.. They thread like no tommorow or just seem to spin and do nothing..

Iv been thinking about just drilling them out and replacing them so can you get replacment screws ? or could i just pot rivert it ?

Also how do you get the wierd clips off the bumper ? as i wanna remove it.

Thanks guys..

Oh and as always followed up the sunday working bee with a nice spit roast :)

Oh iv also got the following parts on route thanks to Jovi and dks51r :)

Auto B4 tail shaft
B4 cross member
B4 front sway bar

Those plastic screw clips are mega aids. And they are all different! Some unscrew a little then you pull the whole plug out. But sometimes they don't because you have to put too much pressure on em to keep the screwdriver in!

Love to know if there are any tricks!!!
