So you spend 16 grand and got a Torquey 130ish KW's at the treads give or take...

I hope its what you were after, i give you credit for having a non orginal approach and did something different,

But Value for money and common sense, I give you 1 out of 10.

At least it would be great for Towing

You really shouldn't comment on things you have no idea about.

It did not cost $16k.

It has had two tunes and made 140kw atw. It takes time to develop the potential of an engine. A bit longer than transferring a dirty old noisy, leaky Legacy half cut into a different body.

You have no idea what a H6 early Liberty drives like so why do you assume it is "only good for towing".

This car is pioneering and interesting. People from Australia and the US are interested in it's progress and results. A bit like your conversion was interesting in 1995.

Definitely keen to see this thing in action Tristan! You should come for a cruise up to the mountains when Dylan returns and we can compare how his drives now :P

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

a Porpa?

Would've been ace to fit a hi-flow silent STi exhaust for sleepiness, but luckily most ricers will be lulled into a false sense of security, thinking your just a GX wiv an exhaust. :P . Now for some plates Tristan, [6ER] [EZ-30-RR] [HHH666]???

And 140 is impressive, can only go up from there.

Seriously dude, have you ever even seen an EZ30R in the metal? Do you know anything about them? Do you know how much timing is in the current tune?
Fark there's a lot of graduates from the school of internet education around here.

Well then tell me.
If they're tuned to the point that they need 95/98ron from the factory to avoid pinging and manage 180kw@fly.
I'd imagine they can make more with a better exhaust setup. I'd guess at another 10-20kw@flywheel.

So realisticly what is achievable without spending a rediculous amount of money, or making it undriveable?

I'm by no means saying it won't make more power. How ever I am skeptical, at the end of the day it is a 3ltr NA.

dyno chart... first (blue) line was with the 2.25 exhaust... i think a twin setup (or a bigger exhaust) might free it up more up top...

sorry about the crappy pic:

Like the vids Tristan, she seems like a bit of a weapon now.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?
