I thought so also, they are selling for around $9,000 at the moment. If she doesn't crash it when we are done with it we should lose less money selling it than if we bought a POS. Or I will just run it off a cliff as its insured for $11,500

Just a quickie, Being a standard WRX 2.0L, How bad is it to run the Liberty RX fuel pump? Are they really different? Because I tried to use the WRX fuel pump and found its either stuffed or I'm missing something as it didnt prime the fuel at all. Could hear the pump priming but it wasn't pumping fuel through the lines.

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Walbros are pretty cheap. You just got Ichibannnnned though yes.

Get a walbro. Make sure it's a genuine walbro. Safe.
Your RX pump will be working its little ass off. The last thing you want it for it to die when you are full boost under full load, Melted engine will be melted.

Is this the one I would be after? Is it just plug and play? Can't seem to find much on what GENIII people have used.

So I assume if the WRX Fuel pump works its can handle it at stock settings? Don't know what I did wrong the first time but the WRX pump is now working with no problems as far as I can see. No problems running with some acc with no load.
How would I know if the FMIC piping is fully sealed? Will I only know with a boost gauge hooked up?

I guess it doesn't have a major one then. Can't hear leaks, Though with nothing after the down pipe its hard to hear much =)

Took it for a drive yesterday, just to make sure everything is running okay.
Have to get use to turbo now, It feels weird for my car to have more power. Not much power but alot more than the stock 2.5 motor.
Does anyone know which pins I would have to change if the oil pressure and temp sensor wires are around the wrong way, Have been in talks with Al but I only have time to email during the day and have not got a reply yet how to swap them the right way.
She goes better than I was expecting though.

I'm happy when I fix something myself, So putting this car together and to have it running is so good.
I was worried something was put back wrong but from what I can tell from driving it everything is working how it should.

Nice!
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

So had some small problems with the car that made their way out when I did some little changes. Couldn't work it out till I decided to check the TPS, This solved one of the problems as the car was bogging down when trying to go around 2,000rpm.
Still having one problem, The car seems to take 2-3 cranks before actually starting up(When its cold, Seems to start fine after having it run for awhile). I spoke to Al from AM Auto and he seems to think the pump may be on its way out. So I have ordered a new one as I think the WRX one had problems anyway. But I decieded to swap the WRX one out for the RX Liberty one just to see if the problem would go away but it didn't.
Does anyone know what this might be?
Other than this the car is going perfect and now I'm just waiting to take it to get the exhaust done and then I will be able to start driving her again....
