I realise this! It's edible. But it's shit.

Plus it puts me in a foul mood, when I eat an awesome meal like last nights. and then tonights rubbish hahaha!


I need a higher paying job, with less hours :)

I think there is a bit of confusion here between benefits and entitlements. But I still believe that a government that allows more on more people to be dependent on BENEFITS (not entitlements) to be flawed, and borderline scary. A 'too big to fail' scenario is always on the cards when people are freely able to abuse the system. I don't think anyone would be upset at people like you, who won't be using the $3K second child entitlement pay to buy new mag wheels, rather look after your family.

Considering you're with such a massive company, I'm guessing you're under NWRS? So you're entitled to 2 weeks pay direct from the government? Can you continue to work and still take that payment?

Been ages since I had to work out paid parentals.


No you have to be on unpaid leave to be eligible for the government hand out.

Adam, I can honestly give you enough meal ideas (cheap ones) that you'll never need to spend more than about $10 on to feed you both, have leftovers and possibly even a little for Roison :)

Not my intention but probably come across that way in an angry rant.


Also, another tropical low smashing the north coast, expected moderate to major flooding again. Dad sent me a pic of the ocean and it was getting pretty nasty.
