Hmm Mum and Dad lost power now too, apparently there is another system predicted to form just like this one in the next few days and smite them over again.

Parents live a couple of K's from the entrance to the river (probably 40Km downstream from that graph), they can't get flooded where their house is, the town is kind of build on a hill area that is surrounded by area that can flood so they get cut off that way, it is more the damaging winds that will get them.How close exactly are you to that river/torrent that has risen 3 metres in the last 12 hours?

I asked for a raise today.
Will probably get it (I've been on the same grade for 5 years) but it's only like an extra $2.5k!
Can't wait until I get back from the US and I can start seriously looking for a new job

Gotta love a 100% pay rise
Was talking to my boss today and she met with her boss yesterday. She asked if we were able to hire a proper receptionist so I can get my tasks done with less phone/filing distractions but it's just not in the budget
