Market dries up, prices increase, demand is higher, demand increases per business.

Then throw Quality into the mix, and that changes it again.

And then you can throw "getting it on tick" into the mix, which normally attracts an interest percentage per day for every day the cash hasn't changed hands. etc etc

Lol! Nice story.. but so true... if supply is harder to get, demand will be more hectic, so the price can go up and people are willing to pay for it..

Thing about stix I guess is there will always be a demand, mostly from repeat customers... but then there will be more suppliers to contend with too

Yeah, so all of a sudden, people's dealers start to run out, and people go on the hunt for other businesses. If the other business is smart, he will increase his prices, thus stimulating urgency for purchasing. He will then tell his mate, who also cannot get on, that Nik is doing it for $30 a stick, and all of a sudden, Niks $240 initial investment for an oz (28g in an oz) goes from $560 (providing he wasn't smoking, and selling at $20 a stick) to $840 ($30/stick).

The problem here, is that Nik needs to know a bloke that can supply him with more Oz's, at that same price. Which, if there is massive demand, and no supply, most people will increase their "wholesale" prices maybe upto and around $300 for an oz, thus reducing the profit margin that Nik can claim. So in return, Nik may then increase the prices per stick to retain the profit margins, but he will need to balance that between charging too much, and charging normal. If you have a new bloke, who is suddenly doing sticks for $20 again, Nik will therefore begin to find that he isn't moving as much, as quickly as before, and as a result, has to drop his prices accordingly. Or take out the competition. Which alot of people do.

Yes to the Western Sydney part... but I'm far out west... foot of the mountains... we have our odd shooting and druggies here... but not as much as you;d think... LOL!

My place is pretty ok though... well I think so... but a friend of mine, in Highschool... was a small time dealer... was high ones, stole a car, drove it into a field and set it on fire... cops came and asked him whats going on... he just laughed and said he did that... arrested... think it was 7 years jail..

Sidenote to the above. Most people will buy a pound at a time, and move that, so again, earning potential increases again, depending on what you're selling for, and the quality of your product.

453 sticks, or 16 ounces in a pound. You'd expect to pay somewhere between $1500-$3000 for a P, depending on quality.
