Do it. Along with a 3.90 or 4.44 diff to suit.

4.11 will not work properly.

I didn't own the car at that point.

That was the owner before Ben.

So original owner converted it to STi.
2nd owner gave it a H6.
Ben owned, sold it to you, and then you sold it to Stax?
Something like that?

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

I'll have to save up, those 6-speeds are pretty expensive.

Haha, maybe when I have a stable job! Petrol and insurance alone eats up my money pretty quickly ;)

See the link I posted on the first page for Pete's story.

Something happened to the internals of the STi motor IIRC. Ben got it for dirt cheap, completely stripped.

Gave it a much needed wash, after I get some money I'll probably invest in my own camera, any ideas for a nice slr in the $500-$700 range?

This is a beautiful photo and she's looking very tidy.

The composition of this shot feels warm, honest and natural.

However I feel that because the leaves on the tree are so vibrant it draws some attention away from the car, though this is obviously not intentional.

When you get a Dslr you may want to invest in a Speedlight as the onboard flash is usually only strong enough for 2-3m. You can get master and slave Speedlights that send commands via infrared, allowing you to position the flash somewhere close to the car to illuminate more of the panels.

You can either place the flash on the ground solo and set a timer or mount it on top of your camera. Alternatively if you had money to buy a master and a slave, you will have 3 different sources of artificial light and the master will control when the slave goes off.

Make sure you check Ebay and online before buying as you can save big money. A speedlight to suit my Nikon is $700 AUD rrp but I've seen them on Ebay for $400 including delivery.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the tips, I'll probably buy gear overseas/ebay as it seems to be a fair bit cheaper than what we get in-store. I think as long as it's under $1000, there's no GST :D

A really nice pic man. I don't care what's in the pic, the car does stand out to me. Well, unless they were bewbs.

You can get a brand new 600D around that. I got one from Harvey Norman a few weeks ago for $485. Body only though. Twin lens kit is around $700 IIRC.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I'll take a look into it, dad got a 550d last year with the lens kit for under a grand, and it's a really nice camera.
