Yeah, it is an interesting place, last time I was there I was by myself, slightly abrubt 50yr oldish women working behind the bar....I had some food that I think was microwaved LOL

It's midday on a Wednesday. I'm not surprised.

Really? most pubs around here you can barely move in at lunch time.

Haha Zac. I wanna do the same so I can run my cad programs!

Cheers, Mark! ill grab it off ya Saturday because i am definitely coming!

too easy mate. ill have a look for it tonight and will let you know.

Thanks man, so you prefer the Macs? I can't seem to get used to it too much, probably since I use windows at work and every other time until I got this Mac from my old work. It is ok, its a MacBook Pro, but still, OSx doesn't do it for me..

I'll keep trying to use it I guess, but would be good to have Win7 as a backup.

If you can find it and get it on a disk for me, that would be awesome, thanks mate

yeah i prefer the Macs now. i still use Windows at work because we have to, but i much prefer Mac now, i just like the OS better and feel its easier to use, and the performance is way better in my opinion. end of the day i feel 9 times out of 10 it comes down to personal preference. i still have a Toshiba Satellite that i use but im running that more as my media centre to stream Video and music to my sound system tv and all that.

Only downside is i think i only have 1 copy of Win7 so you two might have to share it!

Clearly I don't go to enough pubs at midday.

Thats alright mate, I'll probably bring my laptop down anyway and just burn it to the HD, then make a copy when I get home, or see if I have any spare disks lying around the house/work somewhere.

I guess I've been using windows so much and never gave the Mac a chance, but it still bugs me, little things about the mac aren't just to my liking... even took me a while to figure out how to do a right click, but I do like the 3 finger scrolling...

Also will probably have to open up the laptop and clean it up... might have a tonne of dust in there, because it overheats and freezes if I'm playing some online graphics intensive game, but I know it shouldn't...

yeah i can relate to that. the whole scrolling and zooming thing was really weird to me at first, and i had no idea what i was doing, it still gets me every now and then because im switching from windows to mac on a daily basis. but once i got the settings right and the right click settings right ive found it to be really easy to use and its become second nature.

too easy. whatever works for you! as soon as i find it ill chuck it in with my camera gear so i wont forget it.

Awesome Mark, thanks mate, You can find me quite easily on the cruise anyway... B4, Indian guy, Blonde wife... LOL!

Will keep giving the Macs a go... they are apparently better for editing and imaging, which is something I plan to look into sometime...

Also, on an unrelated note, applied for any roles in my old Testing company that has an office in Brisbane... can't wait to get out of Sydney

Wow... nice... going in the "new" Foz... should be fun... almost 200kw! Keen to check that out... if I can find it among the sea of cars coming to the cruise...

Cool... I will have to get PhotoShop too and learn to use it... got tonnes of pictures of baby that I'd love to edit...

Thats cool mate, I thought you were using other software at work. My mistake.

But isn't Perth very quiet compared to somewhere like Brisbane? As in shops close early, nothing much to do on weekends, stuff like that?

The schools being good is a plus for sure. How are house prices there?
