Uni break!
I'm going to the snow on monday, is there going to be any snow?
A small amount, still enough to have fun.

I'd live in WA over qld. Even on some non bias shot, I'm on my phone but can give better thoughts with keyboard.
Thats cool, maybe we can discuss this sometime if you are up for it. I've just had it with Sydney, it is insane living here... so there must be some place better. So far all that comes to mind is Brisbane, but if Perth is something to consider, that would be a good possibility too.
Thanks Nik

Yeah that might be something to do also, after we check out Brisbane in Aug...
Perth is warmer? If so, the wife might like that better...
Just want to live somewhere that is not too hectic and crazy, decent cost of living and good for families...

Brisbane weather is much like Sydney (Brisbane is usually a few degrees warmer though), Warm Humid Summers along the coast and dry hot summers in the west, Perth is dry heat.. so will depend on what she prefers.

Brisbane has torrential rain in summer ?/
Much the same as Sydney, except Brisbane has less rain fall on average each year.

I prefer cold heat!

I'm from Singapore, so I'm used to the humid heat which I hate and sometimes the occasional monsoon...
She is from NZ, so she is used to the cold, but hates it. It is hard for us I guess, liking the opposite thing. I can deal with some heat, but not where I'm sweating like crazy all the time.
Brisbane might be a few degrees warmer, which is fine. I don't mind Sydney, she thinks it is cold, which is it sometimes, which is why Melb is out, since it is always pretty cold down there. I do like Melb, because the CBD is nice, but it is still very much like Sydney.
It is difficult, and doing a pros and cons list is not going to solve the issue, so I guess we will have to take a trip to both Brisbane and Perth and see what its like there, but thanks for the opinions and thought provoking points guys. Much appreciated.
