Netflix sounds good Amsy. I might look into that tomorrow. It is better value than foxtel & good to have when free to air TV is shite
It's much better value. It's not AS up to date as Foxtel, like most major tv seasons it has up to the end of the previous season but think of it as a replacement for a video store...
They also have one off series done just for Netflix (eg. new season of arrested development).
For $8/month it's a winner for me.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Just keep an eye on your download limit. The $8/month covers unlimited tv/movie streaming but make sure you don't get hit with a bill for too much downloads.

Sounds good man. Thanks. Just did a quick google search on it and says it's not yet in Australia or is blocked or something? Will check it out more tomorrow & see ow it goes, but thanks. Will be good to have some TV shows at least, instead of always having to get then off the internet.
My download limit is either 200gb or 500gb a month so I think it'll be fine to stream a few hours per day

Yes they geoblock Australia, they intend to come to Australia at some point but from what I read it won't be for at least a few years.
Mediahint gets around the geoblock.
They WILL ask for a credit card, an Australian card will work fine. The first month is free, so if you don't like it just cancel it before they charge you in the second month.
They will also ask for a zipcode. Use 90210, the only one I knew off the top of my head

Thanks mate, knew there had to be a way around it. I'll check it out & like you said, 1 month free so nothing to lose.
Genius move on the postcode by the way. I used to watch that show back in the day. Now, I have no idea why I did.
