Do it anyways radam while you are in the mindset. Cam is right that the rears don't have much of a hard job but if they are down to 3mm or less there is no point putting it off if you are already psyched to do it, if you are like me you will probably forget about it and next time you remember they will be just metal on metal haha.

The pads in the rear of my B4 I think are Lucas somethings... They were 50% wear when I got the v5 still rear calipers so I left them in, that was like 4 years ago or something haha.

so how many chances do you give a business to return your phone call/get back to you when you are attempting to buy something??? namely a car yard.

 

sent an email enquiry wednesday morning, but got no response, so i rang yesterday morning, and i was told they would get back to me asap. no reply, rang again yesterday afternoon at approx 3pm, bloke still had no answers for me, and said he would get back to me at the latest first thing this morning. nearing on 11am now and no response still?

another call perhaps or consider them incompetent at customer service and find another car?

its in minchinbury in Sydney, so basically yeah too far for me, 2 hours there and 2 hours back. im not wasting an entire afternoon on saturday to go and inspect the car if they cant answer me a few questions first before i go and look at it to see if im still interested

I would say that is very odd for a car dealership, every time I was looking for a car, emailed multiple dealers and all of a sudden, it turned into a non stop barrage of phone calls and emails asking

me if I wanted to buy the car.

Yep, when I enquired for the Stagea from the dealer, they got back to me within 10mins of submitting the online enquiry.

That is 15minutes from my house.. what is the car, and what is the name of the yard and I will go there tomorrow and check it out for you... and ask whatever u want to ask them and I'll tell them to call you ASAP

thats what i thought. normally if ive ever enquired its taken at most a day to get a phone call from the email, normally same day id get an email, or if i phoned them id have a response fairly promptly.

to me from a customer service point of view its fairly poor form, not responding multiple times, they are the ones trying to sell a car and should be chasing the sale, it shouldnt be me chasing after them in this instance screaming take my money.

Thanks for the offer Zac, but in my eyes if they dont return the customers phone calls or want to discuss it with me, then they really arent interested in making the sale or doing business. i dont want others wasting their time with these clowns at the rate they are going. (even if you told them to call me, i doubt they would!)
