far out uni text books are expensive. $180 just for one book for one of my subjects, bet we will hardly use it as well.

Pretty much bro. You're better off getting a tablet/ipad and downloading or buying the ebooks, it's cheaper in the long run.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Usually the publishers of the text books will have them available on their sites. Or you could possibly download an app called iTunes U (or even iBooks). It gives you access to complete courses from leading universities and other schools, plus the world's largest digital catalog of free education content. Or so that's what the description states.

Just look the books up you need on the net. Sometimes they have a website or Amazon might have them or you may find a torrent, if you're lucky.

That's also good, but double check, as the revise the books every few years.

Also what Gary said works.

already looked at itunes U. not alot of australian universities have stuff on there or any of the stuff we need here, alot of stuff from american universities moreso

ill check it out. i know they revise them fairly regularly, and as soon as they do they tell you you need the latest revision, hopefully some will still be in date to save me a few $$$

i will have a look around tonight and see if i can find them elsewhere on the net cheaper, fingers crossed i may find something. worst case is i buy em and write them off as a tax expense

LOLWUT.

I think the S4s internal data monitor is off.

I have used 102mb in data today. I then went in and played about 10 seconds of a HD Youtube video. Paused it, went out

112mb. I'm pretty fuckin' sure it doesn't take 10mb of data to load a Youtube movie, does it?

Regardless, I've switched 4G off now. I done the same test with 4G, and it chewed 26mb of data.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Yeah I assumed so. Spewing. What about iBooks? No luck there either? Have you asked the actual university whether they have any of their textbooks online at all?

That doesn't sound right shaz. My HTC one would only use like 100mb of background data p/month at the most, a YouTube video should be a couple of mb max.

Why can't it be 5:30pm already!!!!!

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

I get paid to do nowhere near as much work as another person in the construction/maintenance industry. Care factor?

In saying that though, I do do work. It just depends on the crew you're with. Some are forking lazy bastards, others like getting work done quickly. I also had TAFE today. Got there at 9:30 AM, finished at 2:30 PM. Get paid as if I started work at 6:50 AM and finished at 3:30 PM. Cheering.
