I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

thanks mate. im preparing for the worst in regards to work right now, basically assuming that i am getting made redundant until told otherwise. 

prognosis isnt good for her unfortunately mate, she has pneumonia and they have chosen not to send her to hospital (too far on, wouldnt be of any real benefit) basically the decision has been made to make her as comfortable as possible

thanks mate certainly will. 

package is nothing special, 3 weeks pay plus entitlements, so not a great deal in the reality of things. hardly enough to keep me afloat for as long as i would need it to.

thanks mate. means alot. 
at the moment the job market here is completely forked. i spose thats the price you pay for living in an area thats so dependant on the mines, and when the mines have completely fallen over, everything has followed suit. 

the only plan ive got so far is if i do lose my job is just be a student and study full time, means i have to cut right back on alot of things, especially luxuries, but it does mean my degree would get knocked over alot quicker, and in an uncertain job market at least it means im doing something.

There's going to be a shit storm before this election, but if Libs get in the mining sector will pick up immediately. 

 

Keep that motivation for the course that you've gotten into, though. I can't speak from experience, I wasn't even a student when I went to school.

in all honesty, ive said to alot of people already discussing my situation tonight, labor are directly to blame for the position i am in. 

unfortunately the company cant hold out for that long until the election to hold onto employees, so people are going to lose jobs, and the job market is quiet. 

 

planning to, big goal of mine is to finish this course, will see what happens, i never intended to do full time study but it may be an option now

I personally believe it will take a minimum 10 years to undo the deep seeded damage.
