Haha headers wrapped in volcano! Sounds awesome... Wrap them in unicorn hide is the best wrapping.. Just hard to obtain.

Do you think they would last longer than oem Steel headers? I just can't decide if it's worth it. If I buy the stainless ones, I get all gaskets, headers and up pipe delivered to my door. VS chasing around to find all the parts!
There's a new wrap that aparantly doesnt start fires as easy! It's made out of crushed volcanic rock!
That's mad about the wrap. I still wouldn't wrap it though, Headers aren't even that hot in comparison to turbo subarus that have pre-turbo cats and the exhaust gas after the cat.
Get the new stuff, Save yourself the stuff around imo.
Plenty of rost off or wd40 on those bolts though, I can only imagine how much of a asshat they would be.
