We worked our arses off this week and have finished the weeks production. So I'm only doing 12-6 (instead of 2-10) today and then were all getting together for Friday drinks. Just have to do cleaning today.

In close proximity, KFC and Maccas as well as an overpriced crappy, quality cafe is all that is around us, if we want anything better we have to go for a bit of a cruise, or just bring lunch

which is usually the cheaper and smarter option.

Yeah I'm close to lots of places in the city... many restaurants and fast food places, but for some reason, we always end up at KFC on fridays, unless we have time for a pub lunch, which doesn't happen a lot...

 

Food from home is the best, during the week. Friday is usually takeaway day for me..

 

Anyway, off for some Herpes... I mean KFC

Can I haz some of your lunch? (If it is a burger or some kind of pasta)

But before that, fry to perfection whatever you have left over in the fridge: ham, bacon, onion, tomato, capsicum... then smoosh eggs.

Have discovered a new cool thing with hamburger patties.

 

Half kilo beef mince

Grate an onion (one big or two small)

two eggs

Paprika powder (couple of tablespoons)

Chop up some green herbs (made some last night with parsley, dill, and shallots)

two cups of breadcrumbs

three to four good dollups of greek yoghurt

 

mix by hand until it's like playdough. if its too wet and sloppy, add breadcrumbs. if it's too dry, add yoghurt.

 

make patties by hand. then crumb them(I did this once with crushed up cornflakes for extra crispiness). ordinary breadcrumbs are fine.

 

straight onto a hot pan with extra virgin olive oil (or, what I am in love with ATM: rice bran oil)

 

 

winner.
