Also Josh, youre sparging too hot. At 76 degrees youll start pulling tannins out of the grain husks. Aim for more like 74/5. I know that can be hard on a home brew set up, and it sounds like fuckall difference, but it does make a difference. To be honest , at the old brewery we didnt do a proper mash out and sparge to stop the enzyme activity. We'd be luck to be sparging above 70.

But probably has been playing with his little one.... assuming she is out now, he sent me a few texts on Friday night updating me on how she was going and apparently she was making progress by that stage - assuming she was out yesterday he probably had a day with the family........
