why not just take it upto ichiban once the oil leak, exhaust is fixed and get it passed. which mechanic did you go to?
They do rego? Might be worth the trip up north then

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

If the car has been officially failed you have to take it back to the workshop where they failed it. I think.
Wasn't official, so I should be able to take it elsewhere
Majority of the work has been finished today:
KU39's are fitted
Front's raised 10mm
Rears raised 20mm
Plenty of clearance now, no scrub on the new tyres. However they still sit a bit far from the body, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue I hope.
My parts arrive at Subaru tomorrow so I can reattach the side panels at long last, then I just need to touch-up/repair the wheels and get the oil leak fixed up. Not sure if I want to tackle the rocker cover since it was a big enough pain doing it on an EJ25 
.
