Looks good, what panel is that instead of woodgrain?

Pretty sure it's the JDM Lancaster trim, pretty much everything is black.

Yep, All Lancaster 6 gear from Japan.
Rare as hens teeth.

I've got that same black trim in my old Liberty, just minus the Lancaster badge..
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

So I installed the LED tail lights I picked up from Shiv today, they look really nice!

They look great, Sam!
Were you able to wire them in easily enough?
Posted 24 January 2014 - 05:30 PM
Yeah, wasn't too bad of a job, the lights themselves connect up pretty easy and I've grounded the load resistor to one of the screws lower down, I'll keep an eye on everything for now to make sure they function properly

They look rad!

So a few updates/questions etc.
With the new LED tail lights, I've wired the load resistor straight to the ground, which causes the left hand side to flash twice as quick, would I be correct in connecting it to the earth wire instead?
The paint on the colour-coded panels is becoming worse each day, I was talking to Ben about it and he said he has a new painter who did the same colour on the Fiori, which looks much nicer. Was wondering if it'd be worth it getting these bits resprayed or if there's any other fixes. The paint cracks easily, peels and has many fine scratches. The rest of the paint seems much stronger.

Yes, connect it to the earth wire from factory so it correctly goes through the flasher module. Almost everything in these cars is negatively switched, which is why your indicators now flash faster.
MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
