Picked up some new AP brand wipers (similar to the bosch aero glide, but cheaper), put those on today.

Ordered some new LED bulbs for the interior, the rear cargo bay has blown so I'll have a go at replacing them with a cool white colour.

Also found someone local wrecking an Outback so i'm going to have a look at the door moulds and maybe the skirts.

Slowly coming together, but I'm running out of ideas on what to do next, anyone got some inspiration or ideas?

Are there even any supercharger kits available for the old style EZ30? Would probably be a fair bit more pricey as well I'd assume  :D

You didn't put a budget :P

here's what I used. I think I must have got the 20pcs 5050 SMD Warm White, used em in the cargo area, dome light, and map lights. It's like there's a sun in my car :P http://www.ebay.com....ac0af24f&_uhb=1

Definitely use the panel for the cargo area. In the gen 2 the stock cargo light is useless with the T10 globe in there!

$7000 for the supercharger kit from raptor, could pick up a V7/V8 half cut for that cost with 6-speed goodness!

But then it wouldn't be a supercharged 6 cylinder.

A bloke on liberty.asn put one on and an E85 tune and got 223kw atw.

2002 Outback - it's gone...

If you want to go in with me, I'm about to order some OBX 3L headers from the states. Along with some catco cats your car will go better and sound tits.

I'll be looking at supercharging my EZ towards the end of this year. The 30R kits will work (With some fab work), From what I can work out.

I thought the problem with the early EZ was that the single exhaust port was what really limited the power? I've got an xforce high flow cat/hitech muffler sitting in the garage, hough I thought my OBK was already running some after market set (ebay spec?)

Chuck us a PM about the headers, if the price is right I'll definitely grab some with you  ^_^

How much power can be reliably attained with the 30D? Would throwing extra money at the bottom end be a good idea?

The current headers have been modded to suit the manual x-member. The OBX ones will need the same modification (Yay)

They run heaps of compression so boost must be kept low. (9psi)

They can still do well. You really need to think about the future and what's best for you financially, If you want the big numbers, Buy an STI or convert it using STI gear.

Maybe EJ207+6 speed/r180 is the way to go.

Matts thread is pretty interesting, guess a v7/v8 is a an AM auto job? Or possibly have them do the loom splice and try get somewhere local do it (best bet Ichiban?). Budget is a fair bit higher, probably $15k starting? If I've learnt anything from vicelore's thread it's probably best to pick a budget and double it  :P

I would go with Ichiban. Ben knows the car.

I've read this thread a million times and I'm convinced I can make it happen.

Make sure its tuned at a shop, not just with whatever ECU they send you (if they send you one). I remember Al from AM Auto swearing black and blue on other threads talking of supercharging that the outback pistons are butter and will be the first things that fail. Compression ratio on the 6cyl engines are a little nasty towards forced induction.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

The stock head gaskets will go long before the pistons do.

You are right though. Heaps of compression!

My LED's arrived yesterday, threw them in today, impressive amount of light! Also fixed the boot light (probably blown).
