Ok so Wob picked up the car today no worries and started sending me pics and information as he rummaged.

Engine is most likely a V4 as its running a VF24 and the same box as in Wobs GX, Mad. Brakes are most likely standard B4 2 pots and the suspension is just some billies. 

The interior is mint

Wob started poking around the engine bay, mostly due to the weird MAF (non 90s) we could see in the auction pics. It appears to be a late GC8 MAF. Also found an IAT sensor in the intercooler


That made things confusing so I asked him to have a look in the footwell. Neither of us expected to see this

Score of the century. Weirdly though its running as a piggyback and according to the test pilot has a shit tune in it. Will mostly likely sell it as im planning on getting a standard ECU modified. Rob has first dibs on it

This thing drives so good, has an ok amount of pull (will go way better with the sti Ecu imho) haltech wiring is a bit dodgy and a shitty tune on it

Gearbox is nice

And no weird noises!

Ive looked up what it can do vs my plan for tuning (ESL daughter board) and its not worth the trouble of trying to wire it up. Should be able to cover it by selling the ECU. Wob wants it and I dont so win win really
