I heard that the trip computer in the 04 Subaru liberty's had factory problem's. Mine doesn't work, is it as simple as a fuse or something different?

Is that trip computer optional ?

Did they get installed in the Spec B's ?

Pretty common problem mate.

If you're handy on the soldering iron give this a go.

There is a guy on eBay who you can send it to for the repair as well. Charges $100.

I can't find the trip computer on my car. Does the GT spec B's come with trip computers ?

Yeah I have the same problem on my 04 Outback. Not fun without a clock either.

Been looking for a replacement unit for a while, soldering job didn't work for me :(

You have satnav/screen instead of the storage bin by any chance? If so, you don't get the tiny trip computer unit but one that's in the headunit/satnav...
