I'm probably going to regret this when one of you buys something I was watching but im a giver so here we go. Normally when you search yahoo using Import Monsters page you get a fork load of brake pads and lines, LEDs, boss kits and other crap we dont want
Example

There is a work around for this. First thing is to go to the yahoo japan auctions page and then the automotive category. Heres a handy direct link. If you use chrome like a sensible adult it should auto translate it for you, if it doesnt click this icon in the top right

mSJWLC7.png

If you dont use chrome you should get chrome.

From here you can search in the bar or click a category. When searching I use model code such as BG5 or GC8. STi has some cool results too.
QhrDFZl.png

You'll be presented with a page like this
zJBtNDI.png
But its still full of crap, whats the point of this DIY??????

Send your attention over to the side bar
dF8TG57.png
Pretty obvious what the first one does! The second option shows the newest auctions first, this is handy as most of the crud is old ads that never get taken down so New Arrivals can show some good bits.

Theres that JDM hawtness we all want. Now your probably wondering how the heck do i buy this awesome stuff. Read on:

Copy the URL from the yahoo ad you want to buy
0siX7co.png
And then load any random item from Import Monster, I usually just grab something from my watch list
lHDShtz.png
And replace the section after the "=" with your copied yahoo url and hit enter

Assuming you did it correctly IM should reload with the item you wanted ready for bids or shipping estimates. Now get upset about how you cant really afford it and add it to your enormous watch list  :dash2:

Definitely useful. I'll be taking this advice aboard for some Gen IV goodies.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Was literally just searching IM wishing it was more like ebay in the sense of selecting used goods rather than new.
Absolute legend

Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

Feel free to use the site I threw together that simplifies the search a bit. It doesn't have categories though.

Theyre all on IM. Using streeter is the same as a custom order from IM from what ive seen. You email him what you'd like and some kind of payment option and then he does the legwork like import monster does. I like doing things online and automatically so i prefer IM plus their customer service is 11/10

Right how does one then find them on IM

you can also use google translate to help you search for stuff.
eg: スバル = Subaru (I hope)

I was looking for a Bonnet for a different car. A guy at work suggesting looking for Bonneto. Worked a treat.
Translate just told me this is "ボンネット"

That will help you find cool things like this:
