I actually feel like I'm getting somewhere with my progress now which is exciting.
For so long I have felt overwhelmed by the amount of work needed to get this thing in a drivable condition, I've spend many nights just sitting in the driver seat pondering and planning with a beer in hand.
The desire to hit the road is strong. But I'm holding back myself until the car is ready, proper ready.
Over the last few days I've finished replacing all the CV shafts and the front hubs for ones with fresh bearings.
The brakes are bled and in the process I noticed dodgy wiring to the driver side ABS sensor so it was replaced.
I replaced some dubious wheel studs, 3 in total.
Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar & bushes were installed.
The idle air control valve was removed for cleaning after I noticed a lumpy idle. A new gasket is on it's way and hopefully it arrives tomorrow.
The coolant system was flushed and afterwards I decided to get a new radiator as there was some damage to the original radiator and one of the top mounts was snapped off.
The new radiator with clean fans.... so much for returning the car to OEM standard.

Radiator in place with a Perrin shroud. Black hex nuts to hold down freshly painted modified brackets. Also chrome hex nuts for the reservoir lid. Note also the IACV removed and the TT manifold piping also removed.
I picked the nicest overflow bottle out of the 4 I have.

The STi wheels are on board now for double "Cruisin" goodness.

Did a bit of a mock up with the Blitzen rear bar and you can see how much lower it sits than the standard bumper.

Over the next few days I'll be painting both bumpers & the Blitzen boot spoiler. Fingers crossed the weather is as good as it has been the last few days
