Hi guys,
My Brant Alarm keypad is starting to play up and I know the Brant alarm is a POS.
I plan to remove/disconnect it. I have done heaps of searching but cant find the info I need.
My Question is. If I do remove it, will this also remove all immobilization of the car? Or does the FOB have the immobilizer built in? Pretty much will it be piss easy to hotwire it?
Cheers.

I had mine removed by a pro (mobile installer).
Looking at the tangle of wires he pulled out, no f'ing way would I have attempted that myself.
Just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure Scott done it in like 15 minutes.
PM him.
Tell him he should get going.
Cheers,

You can just bypass it, I was quoted like $70 to do it, but have left it for now since it has been behaving itself. My mates WRX also has it disabled.

as shaz said 15mins to pull it out easy
did it the other day
you will have no immobilisation tho once it is pulled out, car will start without pincode etc
let me know if you want to know how to do it, but if you are going to get a system installed just let them sort it out
cheers
