I have done a bit of searching but cant find any threads about talking about how to remove the front bumper. I am just curious how to go about it? Is it difficult? Will a simpe socket set do the job?
Thanks

**If your cars low it might pay to turn the wheels towards the opposite side to get your hands/socket in there
Then theres just the plastic clips that need a flat blade to undo
1: 5 near the bonnet catch
2: 3 under the front end...one in the centre and one each side
3: 2 each side (i think) at the end of the bumber where it meets the wheel wells
when all thats out, carefully pull the ends out a bit from the wheel wells as there is a clip on each side on the edge of the qtr panel...once both are unclipped you can lift it away a bit from the front near the bonnet latch...but not all the way as you need to unclip the fog-lights...once theyre undone it should come away
Make sure when you put it back on that the bumper is in the little clips under the headlights and pushed in as this screws with the bumper line if it isnt in properly
**Ive gotten rid of the bolts now and use cable ties and it only takes me 2-3 minutes to remove my bumper
Hope that helps...and/or makes any sense LOL

Then put the bolts in after ensuring it is clipped in correctly at the qtr panel...and lastly the clips under the bumper in the wheel arch part
Make sure all is tight and your inner liners are in properly and thats about it
Only thing i can say is if youre doing it by yourself, be careful the top edge near the wheel arches dont scratch your qtr panel as you put it back on ....once youve done it a few times it becomes piss easy...its more awkward than anything

Nah not really, just slip it back on after hooking the foggies up..put the top clips in first near the latch, then the 3 under it
Then put the bolts in after ensuring it is clipped in correctly at the qtr panel...and lastly the clips under the bumper in the wheel arch part
Make all is tight and your inner liners are in properly and thats about it
Only thing i can say is if youre doing it by yourself, be careful the top edge near the wheel arches dont scratch your qtr panel as you put it back on ....once youve done it a few times it becomes piss easy...its more awkward than anything
Awesome much appreciated.
