Boys and Girls, I have the idea for a SubyClub exclusive in the making...

We have so many questions and topics about conversions..
Many of which are "how much work is it?", "How much will it cost?" "can i do it myself?" and "Why? Just buy a turbo to start with"

THE PLAN:
To make a feature length Video of the Conversion Process that will document the highs, lows, bloody knuckles and the triumphant rumble of the first start!

Now I don't want this to be any old amateur affair.. I plan on doing this properly and as such I'm looking for some help.

Right now I'm looking to get some partners in this venture, Don't get too excited though people.. I am not expecting this to make any money what soever.. BUT, this could be a great project for anyone studying in the field or looking to add to their portfolio ;)

THE REQUIREMENTS:
I need a garage.. I Might have a professional Workshop available but I'm waiting on confirmation, it would be nice having all that available but at the same time it takes away from the "do it at home" feel I'm looking for and hope to capture.

In my current house I just don't have the space or garage at all actually to do this, thus my request.
Anyone willing to have a Car in their garage for 2-3 weeks and a half-cut In the driveway let me know!

Additionally i am going to need cameras!
I don't want this to be all shot from one location. my idea is to have multiple cameras recording all events from all around the garage, and at least 1 "mobile" camera getting the action shots ;)

Which brings me to the next requirement...
A Director/Editor/Cameraman/Creative Genius
Someone to help capture the whole process and edit the whole thing into something that is visually appealing and not boring.

Finally i want to involve as many Members as possible!

from the member delivering late night Pizza and Beer (Nik feel free to ship over some brew for us to try), to the Mechanical genius that turns up with Subaru Special tool that we all think is not needed :P

THE OUTCOME:
To have the first fully documented Subaru Conversion.
To answer the questions about the process.
To do something awesome as a club.
and most importantly.. To have a ball doing it all.

Think of it as a Subyclub Mechanical day on Steroids (and Viagra cause its going to take a while)

I'm interested to hear peoples thoughts and opinions.

This has been a long time coming and my conversion has seen a shitload of Setbacks (both Financially and Personal) but this is the real deal people! I'm excited to finally be starting, and I hope you all can come along for the ride.

Thanks Aek.
I really am not sure where to go with it but the idea is here for everyone to contribute and build upon.

It has been suggested to me that i involve some vendors (actually a few have already offered up some assistance) but I'm not sure I want to really make this a marketing/promotion venture for SC for fear of losing the back yard DIY'er appeal that is the SubyClub way.

But i guess when the ball gets rolling and get some more feedback from the community we can see where things go.
