Morning.

Gunna be hot so I'm not sure I could be bothered working on the Commo today, despite the fact i have a bloke breaking my balls to buy it before I advertise it.

Rings me up wanting a look, I tell him it's not ready and cant be driven.
Still wants to come over for a look.
I tell him again it can't be driven and I need a couple of weeks to get it up to a state I'm happy to sell. Once I'm there he will be the first I'll call.
Insists on coming around and paying a deposit.
I tell him no again.

This goes on and on until he finally realises that I'm not budging.

Kinda annoying.

Today will be an AWESOME day filled with smoking hot females wearing hardly anything!!!!!!

Pics or ban.

Why am I up this early?

Dunno, why?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Couldn't sleep. Still a bit angry. Kind of. More angry that the cops never got back to us. In my older years I don't like to talk foul about the pigs too much - but they make it hard sometimes. I got pulled over for an RBT on my way to pick up dinner last night, I felt like saying something. Refrained.

But seriously, finding out they were posted less than five minutes from our place all day picking people off coming out of the beer festival.... kind of annoying it took them 52 minutes to respond to a 000 call....

MOVING ON

The VS? (?) - why is dude so keen on buying it? No offence, but it's hardly a rare car?

I will take as many photos as I can mate! :) At this stage it's just positive thoughts though!

:)

Call and ask on the progress of the investigation.

VS yes.
The bloke is a customer/acquaintance of a mate with a workshop and he lobbed the other day looking to buy a car as his has been defected. He still has the same car he had years ago when I worked with my mate, an XF Falcon and it was Posted Image'ed then.
I guess it's because he's in a hurry and he knows how I am with my cars.

If he does buy it, I'm sure he will Posted Image it as he never spends money on servicing. He only brings the XF in when it breaks (brakes?) down, wants it fixed yesterday and complains about the cost.

You have torn me.

I LOVE woodys, but HATE Jeeps.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Haha, so true. When I was younger our neighbour had a Skylark and a Woodie wagon.

Jeeps are shit though. So is the support network for them in Australia!

Guy sounds annoying as all Posted Image. I'd be hesitant to sell it to him, because when he does Posted Image it up, he'll probably call you!!

I have the very same artwork on the wall in my lounge room, but in a much nicer frame.

Posted Image

There are some other automotive art works on the other walls so a few years ago we had them all professionally mounted and framed.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Haha, all the cop shops down here are closed on Sundays!

:) (and Saturdays, the only roll in shops on weekends...)

That's a wicked piece.

Oooh! I have a fair few Jaguar works from my Dad. I'll take a couple of photos. One is awesome. An XK120 in a workshop getting repairs.

Also have the 'Seven Days Seven Nights' print signed by Stirling Moss and Hadley, in the XK 140 Coupe!

Jeeps are shit cars but the support network isn't the worst. Possibly because they Posted Image up all the time?

I found Suzuki and Daihatsu the worst. Just about everything was ex Japan at a six week wait. At least the cars are bullet proof.

Nah, he won't call me, he'll call my mate which means I'll still see it (plus he lives in the next suburb)
Even he should get at least a year of trouble free motoring.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

That's what killed me on the Forester, I had (have?) no idea about Subaru so every part I got before finding GTRYDAZ was from a stealership...! And because it was JDM they had to order EVERYTHING from Japan. I was off the road for six weeks waiting for a lower radiator hose........................ when I could have just bought a 97 WRX hose as it was exactly the same.

THE MORE YOU KNOW.

Why is the car not drivable naaooo?!

Morning.

I'll be waiting for pics of semi nakeds Nik

:D

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Trying to get the mother Posted Image'ing, *****, arsehole, prick of a front (noisy) pinion bearing out of the diff.
Nowhere for a puller to grip and its a tight fit on the pinion. I'm having to feed feeler gauge strips under the race and driving the pinion rearwards, fit thicker strips, drive pinion rewards, etc.
Seems to be working, but a slow laborious job. At least its just in the backyard so I can come and go as I please.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Up to about 2mm so it's working.

H6 is absolutely awesome.
The thing has another surge at about 4500-5000rpm so it feels great with the manual plus the handling it pretty sharp.

Definitely agree, I know mine is auto, but if you wring her neck she delivers. Dropping back to 2nd at around 80k launches you to 120k so fast. It's the perfect auto box for country driving. The four speed Subaru boxes are fuckin' shithouse compared to the 5.

2mm. Damn. Slow process. Will it just eventually 'pop' out? Or... is that the plan?
