Keep him waiting & jack up the price to cover the extra time you've had spend on it. I wouldn't even bother doing much of a clean up on it. He sounds like the kind of person that won't appreciate it and it most likely will end up like his Falc anyway.

As long as you are happy it's 100% when it's sold is all that matters.

If he see's it now then he has time to reflect and reconsider his options.

Treat him mean and keep him keen besides he knows what he will be getting ;)

Well I'm biting the bullet and going to have a look at a Focus tomorrow. I'm really not wanting to spend money on a car but the tomato just won't cut it as a fall back car for the family if the Forester is ever off the road. Hopefully I can get it for $6.5k if it checks out to be ok. We've been saving our arses off for near on 2 years, so I won't be financing it in anyway.
Even if I spent the money needed to get the tomato up to scratch it still wouldn't be a car safe enough that I'd be happy to put my family in.

I just like the focus. have done since a drove one for 5 weeks in England. this one is an ST170 with the 2L zetec and 6 speed. I'm reluctantly looking at spending $6.5K.

I know of a sti for sale brett, do it!


Not even close to being tempted.
