If you can, shoot at 60fps, then post edit video at 1280x720 @ 30fps, because when you do the slow motion, it will come out much smoother, especially if you're using twixtor.
Love the dog! Go Elvis!
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Mic in the engine bay seems plausible though!!!
I'm out taking some videos today (and learning howtoskidrendogstyle)

I'm only using free 'Windows Movie Maker' at this stage and really have only just started getting interested in learning more about all the audio/post editing you seem to have access to on the better software packages.
In regard to the Audio, that's a great idea having the mic in the engine bay, although the biggest fail with the whole gopro set-up, is that even though it has a mic jack, that can't be access with either of the cases on
I'm going to buy a spare case and drill a whole in it
I'll have a try with the Blue tooth mic in the car,...I'm hoping to find an adjustable phone car mount that will hold the gopro steady without it's shell on.
If that works well, I think i might buy a couple of extra mic's, mount 1 in the bay and one at the back of the car for zorst and just label the mic plugs in the car...

Expensive, but if you want to hold it steady I would recommend them, I think they do them for gopro as well.

If you're after a mount, I'm using something from these guys to hold my tablet in the car and it's sturdy as hell, really solid construction.

Just reviewing some footage. The sound isn't TOO bad with the skeleton case... but lots of wind noise, depending where its mounted.

I thought it was my export settings but I don't think it is, I'll have to try out a few things and see if I can improve it, but i'm not hopeful. Might be time for a hero 3!
Also, youtube didn't like my song choice. Phaggots!
