What's so hard to decide?

What's your budget - i'll find you a good one.

Well image quality is a big deal...

Budget is around $700 for a 32"

There's really not that much to consider. Just buy a fuckin' TV.

It is harder than it seems, but I'll be buying one this weekend regardless

Calm the fork down captain

I thought you made the decision, Sack?
Nik, what do you think about a brioche for a burger bun????

Kind of...Ash helped.. said to get the LG... but reviews say the Sony is better... and it is a Sony..

Thanks Argi... yeah I was looking at the Sony Bravia one from JB... so will check that out again this weekend...

@Shaz, I'm not a millionaire... and my lounge isn't that big... so a 32" will be fine... also, thats more that double my budget, so thanks for nothing.. LOL!

Anyway, I'll be going to JB anyway, I have a good friend there to hook me up.. not Ash..  but yeah... its hard to decide between image quality of the Sony, LG and Samsung... all are LED LCD and the LG and Samsung are 3D, all are smart Tvs...

Samsung panels are crisper for a small-ish TV.

Also, I believe Sony uses LG panels in their TV's anyway..

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Yeah Argi, thats the one I'm looking at from JB... they are charging more, but will price match and lower the price... so we'll see...

How is the image quality? The LG one we looked at in store was pretty sweet... looked better and more natural than the Samsung... which was too bright

So you recommend Samsung? Yeah I'd get a bigger TV, but Megan doesn't want something too big that it becomes the center of attention of the lounge... so 32" is fine...

I've heard good things about Samsung, but it is very bright...

We just want the sharpest image and the best quality... out of those 3 brands...

When will you ever have 3 different TVs side by side in your lounge room. Once you've bought it you'll never think about "but the Sony had blacker blacks". Or any other blah blah blah marketing shite.

Who was it that was saying they had posts get quoted when they were edited? In feeling your pain man. It's fuggen annoying.

Sig worthy.

Thats true Brett... but I just want to see all 3 side by side so I can decide which has the best image quality for my and Megan's eyes... I don't worry about the other brands after, just want to find the one that looks best to us, with the best features too... 3D may not be necessary.... yet...

Zac you can't tell the image quality in the store from the crap they pump through the TVs. Buy the best you can afford and be done with it.

Samsung is my pick. Sony has fallen too far behind in terms of panel technology recently.

Haggle this one down to $700:

Thanks for that opinion mate... The Sony only came in the running since I read their Smart TV interface was nice... but meh... I don't care...

So it is between the Samsung and the LG... LG looks better to me... and Ash did recommend the LG too... but I always liked the Samsungs... Series 6 too...

Funny thing, they seems more eager to drop the Samsung by almost $90 on the spot, but only $40 for the LG... but they have to drop the Samsung more when I see them next time, since they price match... so we'll see how it goes...

Megan likes the look of the LG though... she thinks its pretty... LOL!

Ill chuck my 0.02c in.

I bought a series 6 LCD Samsung a couple of years ago. Mines just LCD not led or 3D and its 40'. I had paid $1200 for it (LCD was the newest craze).

Lens tell you, I don't regret it one second. I had two mates go out after and buy led LCD, Sanyo and LG then dad wet and bought a Panasonic. The Samsung kicks all their asses for sharpness and crispness of the image. First movie I watched on it was 'shutter island' and I swear you could see the little blonde hairs on Leo's neck!

Love my tv and will probably buy another Samsung when the time comes...

Brett, fair enough about not wanting to spend $500 on cosmetics :D

Also, yeah if the engine mounts are fuxzored you will notice more vibrations and shit and other components will be put under further stress as they are trying to absorb some of the movement of the engine.

3D = don't bother.

Get a good brand, not Sony.

Buy; Panasonic, LG or Samsung.

Find something that's $50 (you're cheap) more than you want to pay and make them bargain down but seriously this is not a discussion that needs to happen. Go and sit your arse in front of some TV's and point at the ones you like, just buy one of the above brand TV's and you'll be fine.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.
