Find something that's $50 (you're cheap) more than you want to pay and make them bargain down.

 

Or convince them to throw in a cheap Bluray player for free or something.


I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

3D = don't bother.

Get a good brand, not Sony.

Buy; Panasonic, LG or Samsung.

Find something that's $50 (you're cheap) more than you want to pay and make them bargain down but seriously this is not a discussion that needs to happen. Go and sit your arse in front of some TV's and point at the ones you like, just buy one of the above brand TV's and you'll be fine.

I'll compare the LG and Samsung again in-store... they are more willing to reduce the price of the Samsung... so that might be the go...

 

Dude at another place told me Samsung has brighter colours, but LG is has more natural colours... not that it matters too much... LOL! We'll just see what looks better.

 

So 3D is a no go? Thats fine... I'm not too fussed by it...


 

Or convince them to throw in a cheap Bluray player for free or something.

Hey thats a pretty good idea... see if my friend can work that out for me.. :)

I would largely ignore what people say "has brighter or sharper" images...nothing beats seeing it with your own eyes.

The only thing I would take a recommendation on is the brand, and I would get a Panasonic (which i have) LG or Samsung.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

I've used my 3D on my TV once. 

 

That was to play Call Of Duty. Played for 5 minutes, got a headache. 

 

Then my dog ate my 3D glasses, and I haven't purchased new ones since. 


 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I love 3d.

But I barely use it! The downloaded 3d movies hurt my eyes.

3d blu ray is awesome.

Thanks for that Adam, looks like no 3D for me... Megan doesn't seem to like 3D either.. hurts her eyes... so kind of pointless...
