I work Mon-Fri in the city and live in the west.. and weekend I'm with the family... Megan and Baby, so really no time for me to go fishing... plus Megan doesn't like hurting the fish, so she wouldn't go fishing with me anyway... LOL!

Don't let that stop you doing it. You'll end up not doing things you genuinely want to do and blaming her for not doing them.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

Nah its cool man.. I do my own thing sometimes... like I hang with the guys on Australia day and we go fishing somewhere... but most of the dudes I hang with are busy with wives and gfs, so they don't do much... and I do like spending time with my family, and I only really have the weekend with them, so I don't like to skip out on quality time with them...
We do things as a family most of the time, but I do some things on my own too... just depends on what it is... If she comes fishing with me, she wouldn't be happy seeing a fish with a hook through its mouth, which is also why, for her sake (and the fish's). I bend my barb in on my hooks, so they come out easily with less damage to the fish... haha... only ever got 3 fish, been fishing about 5 times...
But nah, Megan is pretty cool with me doing things and going places, I am just trying to be a considerate husband and a good father...
I don't go fishing to catch fish. If I do it's a bonus.
Same here... fishing for me is just a time I hang out with the guys near or on the water... I don't care if we don't catch anything... but thats the reason I wouldn't go along... need company

Haha ok... Megan ain't so bad... she will kill ants I guess, but she'd prefer they weren't there... we got pest control for our house before, and she wants some safe and environmentally friendly one... but also coz we have Harmony around, so could have harmful chemicals on the floor
