Interested in the wheels too Matt, Steph's wagon needs some wheels.

Why you get rid of blue silicone hose?

Maybe not to Marks standards...but I want it to be semi respectable as its a solid car and deserves to look the part

Pretty much! Hope matt gives this one a real go at the track :D

So do I Mark...though ive only been once..so time will tell...but I intend for it to see the track most definitely once I feel its ready...as it needs some tidying before that

I look forward to seeing the outcome of this, if your Gen3 is anything to go by :D

Sort out a new intake setup to remove the accordian rubber part thats failed
Move charcoal cannister to passenger side firewall area
New fmic piping to allow fitment of airbox..probably billsy spec with rotated turbo

Full plumb back BOV in place of the stupid loud one
Rerun most of the vacuum lines in the engine bay
Mount the boost solenoid properly
Possibly remove the now redundant afm
Clean the car a few times inside and out lol
Put a normal non deep dish steering wheel on
New power steering setup...2.7 rack..new age pump and reservior
Wrx alloy header tank fitment
Hide the aftermarket computer a little bit
Remove the 18 inch rims...sell them..and reclad my sti 17s with sticky rubber

is the rubber bit that failed the same that broke on mine?

if you run the new age pump and some phoenic? spacer things you could run your intake under the manifold?

Ya reckon an under intake will fit? I think for the power its pushing I wont see too much gain anyways..phenolic spacers would help a bit maybe....and I know a stock airbox works with the old intake aswell? So might just keep it as is for the moment

And yep same bit....bit cracked on the airbox side....looking at iains old rs I wann get some silicone to run it like that

Apparently samco make a silicon replacement kit for the early rexys v1-v2 i haven't seen one but, i was just gonna bend something out metal weld some pipes for the vac hose and use silicon straights to join it to the turbo and what not.

i got the part number of grant if ya want, but its $90, kris at rising sun can do it for $88 postage lol

Under manifold intake won't fit Matt unless you go a '98 manifold or later...not really worth it anyways.
The biggest difference I noticed was with a new intake elbow and the gen 2 airbox :)

Got her home today...unpacked all the spares outta the boot and dug in

Got the rear seats and parcel shelf out...need a new shelf as the one in it is crappy and is one with a brake light fitted..dont need it as I also refitted the spoiler..which I need to wire back in properly

Looks heaps better with the spoiler ;)

Gutted the boot ready for a big interior clean, shampood and hosed down the rear seats and floor mats and gave the outside a good 1st wash.....still lots n lots to do but its fun and its all just baby steps atm lol

Will be looking into new tread tomorrow for the sti rims..and need to decide on what colour ill make them??

Front seats and carpet will be out the next few days ready for a good clean, than its onto the engine bay piping
