Update...
After making the decision to part out my TT Heritage, the list of goodies for Bluekong has increased substantially. I'll be devoting all my attention to this car from here on.
The new gearbox I installed is no good so that needs to be addressed first.
I'm taking the original box to a specialist mob for a strip and quote. It's only $44 to get done, awesome. If it's not going to cost too much i'll go ahead with the rebuild.
The replacement box is noisy as fork and totally not worth the money paid. It's going back to from where it came.
This car needs to be reliable!
Some of the pieces I'll be adding from Whitekong & my collection are...
4.11 LSD
Vented rear discs
294mm front discs with B4 callipers
Whiteline ALK
Front hubs (Newish bearings & flange in WK's)
D1 spec catch can
B4 Momo wheel
Clear indicators
Some trim if needed
Some of the things that have already made their way onto Bluekong.....
The custom mesh grille.
The ribbed Rev D fog surrounds are back because they are in mint condition.
The Sti wheels are back on.
A Legacy garnish & lights were added also. It's wired in using an external loom from Whitekong so Bluekong's loom is unmollested. Good for if I ever decide to return to standard lights & garnish.
The boot lid has been debadged. I kept the AWD badge to cover the holes in the boot and it has been painted satin black.
Whitekong's mudguard spat thingys installed & a different angle on the mesh grille.
Apologies for the photo quality.

Going to drop the Heritage suspension into her as well man? Be a good upgrade on the RX stuff - and likely a little lower too.
Dont mind me - just read the posts before this page - you've already dropped some new suspension into her...
MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

Yeah I agree mate. They go together so well.
Any good cheap painters around Newy you'd recommend?
I need a few things done, a closed door respray isn't out of the question either.

Small update.
Leading up to HVC a few things have been added whilst I get Bluekong ready.
JDM Hid headlamps installed.
Hopefully as bright as 10000 suns. No leveler switch installed & The parker bulbs are shit. I'm looking into my options as far as parkers go.
I spent a bit of time wiping, cleaning and looking at the engine bay whilst having a beer today and ended up going to town on all the exposed wires with conduit.
Looking good with not many exposed wires
I added a black Perrin radiator shroud.
Blue STi 1.3bar radiator cap, anodized black STi aluminium oil cap, battery rotated and wires tidied up.
Biggest waste of money.... Perrin brake cozy.
I know right... wtf!
I couldn't resist lol.
More to come over the next few weeks

Whats the idea behind rotating the battery?

Tidy!
Whats the idea behind rotating the battery?
Man, the battery isn't the correct one. At some point some douche has changed the terminals to suit a cheaper battery and the wiring was messy as fork.
I had to rotate the battery to get the terminals on the same side as the wires...does that make sense? Now positive is on the passenger side.
It just tidied it all up. I also added the terminal covers to finish it all off.
