Looks good mate. The 2.5 normally looks really messy. Take much modifying to fit it ?

Just trimmed off the part that would go around the top mount, and made up a couple of bracket extensions to mount it properly!

Looking good mate, it's amazing how much neater the engine bay looks, and how factory the turbo engine cover looks too!

As far as the engine bay goes that's about all i'll do, except maybe a master cylinder stopper.

Fair enough, A Cusco strut brace with brake stopper is on my list of things to do.

Acquired these Enkei RS05's on Saturday. 18x.7.5 so a little bit smaller than my RPF1's. I really like the look of these. Shame the tyres are made of butter so they'll need replacing. Trip down to thredbo planned for this coming weekend so if anyone has roof racks for a GEN 4 liberty theyd like to part with/lend please let me know

Small update. Had a bit of DIY fun over the weekend. Mounted a light bar behind my front grill, as well as shading the lens for a more stealthy look (had no effect on light output). Very happy with the end result. Wasn't expecting anything amazing as it was on sale at supercheap. Total cost was $150 for the bar and everything used to mount it. Will switch to HID highbeams for even more visibility. Has made driving dark back roads much more relaxing at night (multiple wildlife encounters recently.  Snapped a mount to rear swaybar bolts onto during a Putty Road run, hopefully get that fixed up next week in time for my next trip to the snow. Potentially considering getting my RPF1's resprayed a new colour.

Have heard from multiple people they've never had any issues with mounting the bar there. Haven't noticed any difference in temps since fitting it. Will give it time. If it decides to have a negative effect it will be relocated.

If you had the lights moving from left to right, could look like Knight Rider :)

Update time.. My Bridgestone RE003's were rather worn and were up for replacement. Was going to settle for another set of them until I found out about the buy 4 get 1 free deal with Yokohama currently. I went with the Advan AD08r's (ended up being cheaper than another set of RE003's). They have exceeded my expectations, just got home from a proper test drive on them and i'm completely amazed. Iv'e finally had to roll my guards, these tyres have a different style side wall to my previous ones, was scrubbing quite bad. Eliminated most scrubbing after rolling them. Got my swaybar issue sorted (no more boaty feels) had the mounts reinforced so hopefully they won't break again in the future.

Gotta love new tyres and their meaty appearance. I think I may be due for a new set later in the year.
