that website only tells me the numbers i already know, doesnt help in telling me if they will protrude from my wheel arches

The website will tell you how much more they protrude from stock
So go outside and measure that extra distance from your rim and eye it off

The internet can't do that for you.

If the rims are the same width then that's all there is to it. If your current rims are a different width to the ones you're considering, that's where the site comes in handy.

true
but i was actually looking for someone that knows their gen 2s and offsets to tell me if 35 should fit, with the size i already wrote first, but i had a look and i think they will just be far enough in

17x8 +35? I don't have a gen 2 but I imagine you would definitely need the guards rolled and some camber unless you want landcruiser ride height.

17x7, i started out 17x8 but u wrote somewhere about 17x7
i originally wantedt 17x8 but decided it was too hard so im sticking with 17x7 but the ones i want only come in +35 and the ones i have on are same 17x7 but are +55 so i was hoping someone could say they will fit but it seems i have to go of my own thoughts :/

So 17x7 +35? Easy fit with rear camber and rear guards rolled and a 215.

For reference from my own setup which is 17x7.5 +32 with a 215/45 so wider and even less offset.

so basically im back to square one, the same as going 17x8 i still need camber bolts and rolled guards :/ god damnit, so are the rolled guards and camber angle meant for when the shocks get compressed they dont hit the guard?

If you want fancy wheels and fitment you need camber and guard rolling. Otherwise stick to factory wheels and offsets.

With no camber or guards rolled the tyres would be constantly on the guards I'd say

i have an idea, if i bought them and tried to fit them, i could see, then if i needed the rolled guards and camber bolts i could get them
