I love the height of my car on the STi Pinks (in the bilsteins), I wish the front end could be lower though, leveled out with the rear better - however I wouldn't clear our driveway. Might be able to go a little lower but only with my weight in the car :P Also it rides softer than stock, but is stiff when you need it. With the strut braces now in I don't really have any need for less roll in the B4, I don't put myself in that situation often anyway.

Wish I could put a ramp on it but there is a damn island on the road, forcing cars too close to the driveway. Also to go as low as those first pics you showed, you would need coilovers or alternate shocks for sure, don't the bilsteins not like super low springs?

to me i look at 10mm with my fingers and think its too much. god i want coilies. :(

How much were the pedders JC? Good plus that they sit lower at the front then lows :)

That's in a wagon though, i have noticed that sedans seems to sit a little lower in the back, i could be wrong though.
They retail at $360 but i got mine at trade price which is $260

So i've been down the coast today went to Dan's (motoboy) to grab the boot lid and I tried out his car. He's got King Lows in it and stock shocks. Its got a strut brace as well. It handles really good. ride is not shit by any means, stiff as round corners. but not bumpy or boaty or anything so im basically pretty set on being comfortable with just upgrading springs. 'Low' is good but i want lower. Wheel arch covering the tyre (but not the metal of the rim) is what im wanting so thinking King super lows or the Tien's.
Dan got the kings for 250 from ebay so thats decent as! ...Shall continue to look into it :D

The sidewalls of you're tyres are 15mm bigger than mine so the gap between the guards and tyre will be a fair bit smaller.

Cheers for that link man. lol....I should have already done this but ill go out now and see where 30mm drops the guard down to. It is supposedly 30mm front and rear too, right?

Shane had billies with tein s-techs...last time i looked they were $700 for the springs alone (best ones they make imho though) they had the best height ive ever seen on a gen3 with a spring/shock combo by far...it was perfect :)

yes it had bilstein and tein's in both those photos.....i miss my Legacy sometimes shoul have kept it :dash2:

yeah if you want as low as shanes the billy combo won't be low enough. if you can find picks of jais old rx on here he had tein ss springs on kyb's which made it sit just like shanes does too.

Hey Shane, can you clear up the indescrepancies here :) What were the proper name of your springs (Tein s-tech and tein SS are both mentioned) and chris said to me to ask for the serial? And how much did they cost you?

Thanks!
