Managed to score a full set of wrx brakes for 400 delivered so I'm pretty chuffed

very nice should be a good upgrade. just run stock 294mm front rotors no need for slotted and u should be able to get used ones for like $50

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Yeah ive already ditched the slotted idea. My current pads are running out so need to get these sooner rather than later. New ones are only 120 or something for 2 so dont mind paying that.

Calipers have arrived. I thought the brake lines had been cut but they look intact. Some of the lines look intact others are cut ¯\(°_o)/¯. Pads look pretty meaty as well

use existing lines.. the only difference is the 4pots have a locating pin on the banjo bolt.. but its pointless because the fitting has to fit in a slot in the caliper anyway.

if you need some spares i have a few laying around anyway..

im also waiting on delivery of a set of braided STi lines.

and a second set of GoodRidge ones...

so once i decide which i prefer.. then ill have a set of those for sale too (p.s. Braided lines aren't cheap!)

p.s. i have a set of Rears coming over from JDM now..

trying to decide if i go the dogbone route or replace my backing plates.. both options have pros and Cons..

Backing plates are 3x the work and require new wheel bearings so total cost comes to about $200 landed for new bearings and new backing plates.

Dogbones end up costing $300 from USA or if you can convince Mark to make some more.. maybe the same as the above mentioned method...

im leaning towards the backing plate method.. so let me know.. might be able to save on postage if we order together.

Im a pov kent and Mark said he could get me some dogbones so ill probably go that route. Whether or not he is making them or ordering them i dont know. Ive seen HEL braided lines for about 150 on ebay from the UK and theyre 50% off at carmods.com.au which are about 130 or so. That being said i dont know if HEL are a good brand. Seem to be ok from what ive read though.

Stupid work computers...... Cant edit.

Make more dogbones? I have about 12 sets left atm. $155 is a lot cheaper than converting.

I got my Goodridge lines from the UK for $80. Not that expensive ;) HEL are also good quality and ADR compliant.

Just be aware that if you purchase Goodridge ones from OS make sure they have the clear sheathing. They also sell ones that are bare braided OS as they have different rules and these dont meet ADR's.

New shift boot finally arrived. If i ever have to put another one of these on in my life, its too soon. Im thinking its already been fiddled with as the ring that holds it on only had 4 clips instead of like 8 which made it an absolute kent to get them back on with the thicker boot. Least it looks good

Colour coding the trims and skirts look awesome. Makes your car look 10x better.
