Just a little photo dump.

I'm about to hit 10,000 km's since my frankenstein was released on the road and I still have a smile from ear to ear during and after every drive. Averaging 9.5L/100 no matter how I drive it and oh boy does it love to rev!
Things are going well and it's truly my daily driver now with my girlfriend home (She took her corolla back :P)

It does everything I need, I don't have any trouble with the police and I can't see myself getting sick of this one. :o

I've got a few small plans and changes for the future. All in time. (Quick rack, Solid steering knuckle,Lip and Spats)

I did the white wheel dance. Shortly after that they got fitted to Geoff's WRX and they look much better on a darker car.

The extended B4 muffler with the china actuator went to a new home and the legamax went back on!

Parked up with Benny for the drifting at WTAC. I was so happy with how the car handled that trip, It loved it. (4 adult blokes and a boot full of esky and gear for the day)

Mmmm clean. I don't get much time to clean it, It's always dirty now it's my daily. (Not that you could tell being a silver car) :P

My LSD works...just! Exit attempt after a day of fishing at a river near home. Who said coilovers aren't practical?

Great to hear you plan on keeping this one for a while. I don't blame you, it ticks all the right boxes.

I'm sure the quick rack will only make it better!

Thanks Gazza.

Yeah they steering ratio lets this car down big time. It still handles great once you have finally turned the wheel to where you need it. But the soft steering knuckle and rack designed for comfort and pleasant driving don't really go with the suspension/driveline stiffness at all.

All in time. I need a money tree :P

Small update, Some good and bad news.

I replaced the upper pillow-ball bearings in my front bc coilovers (I took plenty of pictures and will post a DIY in the next few days)
So good to be knock free :)

CoPbcFD.jpg?1

I installed a JDM flare holder with matching flare.

and the bad news...

Last week I had a 60 series cruiser bump into the front end, He wasn't insured but was quick to pay me some cashola.
I whizzed down to Ichiban and as ALWAYS Benny had me sorted. I got a new front bar, gt30 grille and bonnet. They will be prepped, painted, fitted and aligned next week and the car will be back to normal in no time.

Ciao.

What a hassle but great you can get replacement parts so damn quick. Particularly a GT30 grille (they're not exactly common...)!

I've had the car back for just over a week and man it's refreshing to be back in my slapper :)
I'm waiting on a standard Blitzen grille to arrive from IM. Sadly it didn't come in time for the meet yesterday...Oh well.

Mark (Cruisn) will love my latest mod, I finally fixed the numberplate. Fits soooooooo much better!

A few photos from yesterday.
