Hmmm, here was a kit for a '98 Gen2 but seems not for a GC8 of the same era...?.

 

Just order the seals individually.....

In other news PS leak seems to have been fixed with the addition of a glug of stop leak. Not worried about it gumming everything up. Rack is nothing special and the pump can be pulled apart easily enough. Good excuse for a quick rack one day i spose haha

Been a while. The wideband i ordered only turned up on monday :\. Unfortunately when I ordered it carmodsAU had just sold their stock to a wholesaler and hadnt taken down their ebay ad yet. So had to wait for them to come back into stock. They kept me up to date with it all so no complaints about their service etc etc

Anyway got the bung welded in yesterday and installed the gauge today. Put it where the boost gauge was as its more important. Boost gauge is currently in the sunglasses pocket but will be getting moved to the vent when i can bothered lel

Our resident tuning guru here in Mexico took it for a drive. Its running rich as tits, 10s when on boost. Not ideal but at least its not going to melt my pistons lel.

 

Also it says poo when you start the car so thats a win

Well todays the day, as of midnight last night Im no longer on P Plates. Hello motoring freedom and not sucking the drivers seat up my bum from clenching when I see a Highway patrol.

Spent the day in the bush for Mums birthday picnic which meant some twistys and a rally stage. LSD definitely works when boost comes on in the gravel  :sarcastic:

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Nope. Just get a new license in the mail and i can drive any car and have alcohol. Kinda silly when you think about it but idgaf

computerised therory test to be able to he 0.05 and unrestricted licence

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

QLD do that for Red P's to Green P's, but Opens is automatic.

 

Interesting side note, in NSW you can get your P's in an auto, which then automatically becomes a manual licence when you go Opens, but in QLD you stay on Auto restrictions when you reach Opens until you do another test in a manual.

Here in vic if you get your P's in an auto you have to do your reds in an auto. I believe once you go green it becomes either. Once youve got your P's here theres no more testing though
