Did an oil change and filter yesterday. 4.5L went in pre HVC and 4.5 came out. Feelsgoodman

Also while getting some bits with my brother for his daily at the wreckers the gen juan I got the VF23 was still there. Noticed it had the clutch heat shield and had a similar layout to the gen 2 lines (the one from the wagon had no chance of fitting) so chucked it in the tool bag, we spent about $100 in total there so theyll live haha

Offered it up when we got home and it didnt fit lol. Chopped about an inch off the bottom section that goes under the master off and it fits. Winner.

For those who know me IRL ive been without employment for about 3 months cos casual and cost cuttings and shit. Finally have myself some work again for the next few weeks working at Masters (first shift was when they announced theyll be closing :\) So that means car parts finally
DGFwR2z.jpg

First on the agenda is Jarrods JDM RS interior which ive been pestering him about for about 18 months. Now that hes going race car ive got dibs. Thats being organised in the next few weeks hopefully. Havent decided whether or not to get it shipped over on a pallet or to go to Radelaide and pick it up. Both about the same cost.

In the mean time a cheap GC8 catback with a proper oval muffler instead of a fart can came up for sale 2 hours away for $100. Trekked out there today to pick it up.Pics made it look like it was mild steel but upon arrival its actually stainless thats dirty. Mad score. Will be made to do next week by one of the RSLC guys whos a fabricator. Now for pics

Havent taken it out of the car yet and the mid pipe is wrapped up in towels and shit. We all know what it looks like.

While I was there I also picked up an alloy radiator with WRX fans that the bloke had for $80. Sweg

Awesome scores there mate!

Sorry to hear about the 3 months of little to no work. That can go suck a big one!

How long will the work at masters last?

Cheers

Got toll the 1/11 with masters. Getting as many shifts as I want at the moment so that's good. Hoping I do well enough to be extended until the final day though. Will be looking for some Christmas casual work to get me over summer then time for a real job

Were you at Coles before? My girlfriend left Coles a few months back and also started at Masters here the day they announced the closure.

Sweet score on the exhaust and rad.

Sweet. At least you've got a little while to find something to get you through into the new year.

Times they are a changing
H5rsrBC.jpg

BBS are going. I love these wheels and the fitment but with great sweg comes rubs when driving hard. Which is getting annoying. I know i could switch them back to +48 but thats too much work and efffort and id like something new tbh. The v7 wheels are courtesy of Tyrone for the time being. Ill be taking a look at some Advan RGs tomorrow night and assuming theyre the same ones in the pics ill be buying them. Bueno

Holy :fork: balls! That drastically changes the tone of the vehicle!

From classy/elegantly fast to down to dirty business I reckon. Almost wouldn't think it was the same car!

Cheers
