Really do like how this is turning out... I always thought the RX's were always so nice to drive too - the 2.5 is a good engine. Interior and engine bay cleaned up nicely! Paint looks great too - although you mentioned bad roof? Is it the same as mine - clear worn out down the pillars as well?

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

The clear was a bit cloudy on the C pillars and along the top of the doors.  Fortunately it came up 100% with a buff.  Completely unnoticeable now.

I'll give the roof some more attention today with a cut & polish.  It's not too far gone but it's going to be noticeable up close no matter what I do.

There's marks & clear damage that buffing isn't going to cure.

But I put lots of pics for you, ***.

For some reason I thought it was MY02, not MY03????

You're right, Jase.  It's an 02.  I added the 03 fog light covers. Must have forgot to mention that.

A shit load of scrubbing & cleaning, you know exactly what it takes ;)  it's  really amazing how good it looks now.  There's very little damage to the car in the scheme of things.

And, those wheels would make any car look good.

I thought the seats were MY03 as well, looking at the pics.

you can tell it's a MY02 from the mirrors mainly as well. MY03 came with a black surround as such :)

Nice work Kongbong.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Didn't MY02 get the dark corduroy style cloth and the MY03 get something a little lighter and smoother?

I seem to remember the mrs preferring the seats of the MY02 when we bought ours.

Yours must be late in 2001 to be MY02. Ours is 04/2002 MY02.

10/2001  ;)

A few things done today.  Billies & Teins installed at the front.  Rears yet to come.  Sits nice.

DSC_1425_zps2jljjo3i.jpg

Front rotor hats & calipers given a lick of black to hide the rust.  I'll do the rear as well when the Billies go in.

DSC_1431_zpsmcntf4kp.jpg

Front air dam given the plastidip treatment for both looks & paint protection.  I do a lot of K's so minimising stone damage is a priority.

DSC_1429_zpsncudbzxe.jpg

I also resprayed the boot spoiler but it's too light.  No pics because embarrassed  :D

Forgot to do a base coat of black.

I'll fix that later on.
