Haha well you know i secretly would love a gen2 gtb like Alex's! But the gen3 fit my lanky frame a bit better, and too much of my love has gone into this car so ill be keeping it

I did it all this arvo mate, so much to remember and my fingers are tired lol

As in the cooler pipes you mean? No cheapo paint for them? That update is coming up next ill just say they look awesome

But the diffback will be blacked out, tempted to powdercoat that instead of painting it lol

Yeah the cooler pipes, or any of his pipe work with welds, looks so amazing! Shame to coat over anything. And I'm a fan of stealf!

And by paint, I just meant some form of over coating! I'd powdercoat the diff back, mines painted, and it's flaked twice now!

Flaked ay? What paint and prep did you use?

My guy uses ceramic type powder coat as he primarily is a high tem ceramic coater, so im confident itd be pretty strong

And hes real cheap too, with a 48hr turnaround including sand bladting as part of the deal

....Not much prep bit-o wet and dry, then wax and grease remover and then engine enamel, Probably my problem. but if you got a good guy, surely it would just be easier haha. Definitely more durable too!

Yeah im hoping its more durable! Alex used header paint i think? And left it for like 7 days to cure...if only ya had an oven big enough to bake it on like most recommend to do

I dunno about evarrr? Theres some awesome gen3's out there, she does a good job though and for that i love her!

Wakie trackday back when the engine was first put in, i drove like a grandma that day! Stressed about losing it as its my daily aswell lol

Super wash weekend, spent 3 days cleaning, claybaring, polishing and waxing the car..cleanest its ever been
