It's out of respect to the Legacy foundation that it's called the liberty here.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

All you need to do is get the airbox out, its just a few bolts. All mine ever did was collect leaves and crap.

I should be taking out the resonator this coming week, so hopefully it all goes well and sounds good.

My, that is one slick wagon ya got there, Liberty! (Even with the stock look)
I guess the reason they're called Legacy in the US and Liberty in AU is because we have Jeeps over here called Liberty (which don't look nearly as cool) :P

My opinion would be the Hanabi taillights and the darker STi rims ^_^

Thanks a lot subigirl. :)

I believe nickknack has got it right with why they're called Legacy over your way and Liberty over here. I personally like Liberty better too, ha ha. Those are my two choices as well. The Hanabi lights look awesome, it's just a matter of trying to find them as the manufacturer doesn't stock them any more. I was looking at buying a members rims the past couple of days but prefer the black Enkei's so much more. It all just comes down to the price to be honest.

Nice man! It looks like a good looking front end, but I really must concentrate on other things higher up on the priority list... :P

YES. Linkage? Is it from this topic?

My left headlight is out so I'm keen on getting some Philips Crystal Vision. Should I get 4300K or 5000K (Philips Diamond Vision)? And how much do they go for, cause most of the ones on eBay are about the $50 mark.

Those Philips lights blow all the time. Proper hid conversion kits are cheap on eBay and much better.
A nice, easy DIY too..

How have you gone with those pads from G88 Garry!? I'd be keen for the HPC pads through eBay from the US.

TBH Chris I'm underwhelmed by the performance of the factory HID's in mine.
The old VS with a good set of H4's would out headlight it on a country road.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Agreed Jason.

I had HID's in my GT with 6000K and then 5000K globes.

Now I have Philips Crystal Vision throughout and theyre much better. Ive had them in every car Ive owned and never had an issue with them blowing, Ive only ever had one globe fail.

Interesting... The light out of my HID's is really good compared to the stock globes and the crystal visions I used to have.
I wonder what the difference is?
As for them blowing, when I had them in the gen 3, I think I went through 3 sets. Perhaps quality has improved since then?

I'm gonna give the Crystal Vision a go. Diamond Vision are a little out of my budget and if the Crystal Vision fail me, I'll go with HIDs. Does $50-$60 sound about the right price for 'em? I have also noticed that they have different 'H' ratings, if that's what you call them. What does that mean and which do I go for?

Thanks a lot for the comments Chris, Jase and Mark.

I haven't managed to get in contact with G88 regarding the DIXCEL. I will call them tomorrow, 100%. If the price isn't for the full set then I'm gonna go with the Hawk Performance Ceramics. I'll keep you in the loop. Sorry about the delay mate.

I wouldn't bother with them in your headlamps. I am yet to find a car with HID's that impresses me. It must be the colour of the light, yes they are much brighter that incandescent globes but it just harder too see things in the distance as the light cuts out quickly.

The best would be factory HID's if you are really wanting for them.

Hi.

Diamond visions are great.

I think my HID's are a step backwards for night country driving... :/

Cheers,
Nik

You have misunderstood me. :P

IF the Crystal Vision don't work out well with me, then I will give the HIDs a go. I am going for the Crystal Vision, so the $50-$60 are for them. Is that a good price?

I have found Diamond Vision for $35 from Menai though: http://www.ebay.com....d3355dae&_uhb=1

What do the H's mean?

HIDs are killer in a gen 2 housing :P

The gen 4 seems to have a very short cut off on low beam! I found it to feel very unsafe when doing country driving!
